The only good thing was the location, it wa relativly quiet away from traffic noise
The room was tired and the air con made a lot of noise without reducing the temp. The breakfast was expensive €14.00 by the time we came down at 9am all the hot food was gone and there was no attempt to replace any of it. Regret would not stay there again
Quality/Price ok. Nice view from the rooms and breakfast area. very helpfull personal, on our departure, they recomand us to visit Cluny, which was a very good choice, to get the fealing of old time France. Thank you.
The receptionist was very welcoming; we liked the decor and the atmosphere and we enjoyed the breakfast. It was easy to find the hotel and the surroundings were very pleasant.
A clean hotel, functional but not aesthetic. Ideal location for overnight stay If you just want a room.
Smells of smoke, restaurant and bar not open on a Sunday evening, And you have to drive to facilities in the town for food and drink.
Stayed one night while travelling across France. The hotel offered good parking on the outskirts of Macon and was easy to get to from the main roads. It was then a short and very pleasant walk along the river front into the town. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom good but it did feel like a conference hotel. Sound insulation was not great. However the location and ease of parking made up for this.
good size room, due to Booked.net reasonably priced, nice river view from restaurant
constant noise during the night (air vents?), ancient tv with bad reception, dirty carpets everywhere, luke warm coffee and limited buffet choice for breakfast, without special offers very overpriced
No soul or character Business Hotel
Nice location, close to the river and to the city centre
Air conditioning was not working and it was very hot at night
Easy to find and park
Not quite walking distance (at least in a winters evening) to the town
Food at dinner was surprisingly good. We both ate the duck and enjoyed. Our business is in the high end food sector and we are quite knowledgable
The Lego school of interior design
Breakfast buffet was very good. Free parking was convenient.
Hotel decor was tired and in need of re decoration. Skirting boards etc were filthy - even in restaurant.
There was a teenage boating regatta on so not possible to walk along the river path. Impossible to enjoy river and scenery.
Clean room, good free parking, river walk
Don't eat here as the food is expensive and terrible.
To be honest not a lot. Breakfast was th only good feature. But not worth the extra.
The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 1600 H. The bed for our child did not stay up, we had to change rooms... Air conditioning did not work. Hotel was a relic of the 60'S. Manager was very good and professional, but could not satisfy us. Swimming pool was nothing like the brochure. Bathrooms facilities equivalent to 1 to 2 star hotel. Not a hotel fitting the description. Not worth 160+€/night!
The swimming pool
Room not ready and dirty, no in room facilities and the room itself was very tired. The staff really did help, but with two young children, we needed to dine in room, whihc was difficult to do as room service didnt cater very well - again the staff did help
